Production Supervisor

 

Location: Sion Mills, Co. Tyrone  
Hours: 4.00pm – Midnight, Monday to Friday  
Full-time | Permanent

 

People HQ is delighted to be recruiting a Production Supervisor to join the team at Mulrines, one of Ireland’s leading juice and beverage manufacturers.

 

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, leading people and making sure the shift delivers safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

 

Working Monday to Friday from 4.00pm to midnight, you’ll report to the Production Manager and take responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of your shift.

 

 

As Production Supervisor, you’ll lead the production team to achieve daily targets while maintaining high standards across food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Leading, organising and motivating the production team throughout the shift.  
• Ensuring production plans and daily targets are achieved efficiently.  
• Managing staffing levels, attendance, absence, annual leave and shift resources.  
• Coordinating the supply of ingredients, packaging and other pre-production materials.  
• Monitoring production performance, downtime and waste, including overfill and material usage.  
• Working with Maintenance to prioritise and resolve mechanical or electrical breakdowns.  
• Maintaining quality assurance standards across mixing and production lines.  
• Managing non-conformance and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken.  
• Training, developing and supporting employees to perform effectively in their roles.  
• Ensuring accurate completion of production, downtime, cleaning and quality documentation.  
• Maintaining excellent standards of health & safety, food safety, hygiene and GMP throughout the shift.

 

We’re looking for someone with previous supervisory or team leadership experience within manufacturing or production.

 

Experience within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing would be particularly beneficial.

 

You’ll be a confident and organised people manager who can make decisions, solve problems and keep production moving in a busy environment.

 

You’ll also bring a strong focus on safety, quality and standards, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
