Production Support Operator

Talentmark are recruiting for a Production Support Operator on behalf of a Leading UK Specialist Manufacturing Company.

This role will be based at their site in Standish, working 12-hour day shifts, from 6am to 6pm Monday to Thursday on a permanent basis.

Salary
The salary for this role will be competitive based on experience.

The Role
Your main responsibility will be to support the safe and efficient operation of the Production Department, including production planning, material handling, as well as following strict Safety, Quality and Compliance Regulations.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the filtration press, completing accurate records and maintaining production schedules in a timely manner.
Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
Assist with stock checks and inventory accuracy, to ensure consistent levels of stock ahead of manufacturing.
Maintain high housekeeping standards across production, including keeping production areas tidy and supporting with waste segregation.
Work in accordance with COMAH requirements and comply with all Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Skills:

Forklift truck license.
Ability to follow manufacturing protocols.
Good understanding of sampling and product testing.
Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including use of PPE.
Previous Manufacturing / Production experience is preferred, specifically in the Chemical industry.
