Monday - Thursday 12 hour night shifts

As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee night shift operations across your designated department, ensuring output, quality, safety, and labour resources are effectively managed. You will lead a team of operators and setters, maintaining high standards of discipline, performance, and compliance while supporting continuous improvement across the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage your team, maintaining discipline and following company policies.
Carry out Records of Conversation when needed.
Ensure all quality checks, paperwork, and procedures are completed correctly.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and 6S, reporting issues to the Production Supervisor.
Work with other Team Leaders to plan labour, arrange cover, and coordinate overtime.
Identify training needs and support development plans for your team.
Make sure production targets are met across all machines/work centres and update the Shift Leader on performance.
Report machine breakdowns and follow up on urgent maintenance.
Operate machinery when required to support production.
Oversee tooling, machine trials, product trials, and development activities.
Candidate Requirements:

Experience in a production, manufacturing, or team leadership role.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and Health & Safety.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and maintain discipline.
Confident in coordinating labour, prioritising workloads, and meeting output targets.
IT literate with strong communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, hands on approach with the ability to work effectively on permanent night shifts.
