Job Title: Production Team Leader - Food Manufacturing Location: Scarborough Salary: £14.20 per hour Industry: Food Manufacturing Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required and participation in 1–2 Sunday shifts per month.

Key Production Team Leader Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach and develop the Production Department team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
* Set clear daily objectives and provide regular feedback to support individual development.
* Motivate the team to achieve production, quality and efficiency targets.
* Ensure all products are manufactured in line with food safety, quality and customer standards.
* Monitor daily production performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, yield and productivity.
* Plan and schedule production activities to meet business and customer demand.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, food safety and environmental compliance at all times.
* Monitor employee safety and promote a positive safety culture throughout the department.
* Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure production plans are achieved.
* Resolve day-to-day production issues quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
* Complete production documentation accurately and maintain operational records.
Production Team Leader Requirements:
Essential:
* Previous experience within a food manufacturing or food processing environment.
* Proven experience leading, supervising or mentoring a production team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while working to tight production deadlines.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including 1–2 Sunday shifts per month.
Desirable:
* Level 2 Food Safety qualification (training can be provided if required).
* Experience monitoring production KPIs including yield, efficiency and productivity Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
