What will you be doing?
As Production Team Leader, you'll oversee a production team responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of electrical control panel solutions. You'll coordinate multiple projects at once, ensuring the team has the right priorities and resources to meet production milestones and customer deadlines.
Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the production team Supervise multiple control panel builds and ensure production deadlines are achieved Work closely with the Production Scheduler to coordinate project milestones Monitor build quality and maintain a strong right-first-time culture Maintain production records and documentation Train, mentor and develop production staff and apprentices Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement Work closely with Engineering, Planning and other departments to keep projects on track Support a positive, collaborative and high-performing production environment
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining an established engineering business that designs, manufactures and delivers electrical control panel solutions for major infrastructure projects. Working across highly regulated sectors including energy, water, renewables and manufacturing, the business delivers complex projects where quality, safety and reliability are critical.
What will you need?
Previous experience leading or supervising a production team Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment Electrical industry experience Ideally, experience with control panel build or electrical assembly Some understanding of electrical drawings and design A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Good communication and organisational skills A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively with different departments Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
