Production Team Leader

A fast-paced food manufacturing business is looking for a strong hands-on Production Team Leader to join the night shift team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, running a busy production line and managing teams in a high-volume FMCG environment.

You'll be responsible for a production area with around 30 staff, making sure targets are hit, standards stay high and the shift runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who can handle people, solve problems quickly and keep performance on track.

The Role:

Running and managing a production line on nights
Leading teams of permanent and agency staff
Managing KPIs including output, waste, downtime and efficiency
Supporting training, performance and staff development
Dealing with shift issues, investigations and problem solving
Driving health & safety, food safety and quality standards
Working closely with engineering and shift management teams
Helping improve performance and reduce costs across the areaWhat They're Looking For:

Experience leading teams within FMCG manufacturing
Ideally from a food manufacturing background
Strong communication and people management skills
Hands-on leadership approach
Comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment
Someone who can take ownership and make decisions on shiftShift:
Monday to Friday Nights
10pm - 6am

Package:

£41,800 including night premium
