Salary: £35k (DOE) plus (max) 8% bonus
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 3 on / 3 off | Permanent Nights

A market-leading logistics and production company in Coventry is seeking a proactive Production Team Leader to join their night shift team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Team Leader or Senior Operative ready to lead within a highly automated, dynamic facility.

What You’ll Be Doing ...

Leading and motivating a team of up to 24 operatives (including agency staff) to meet production targets and KPIs
Monitoring machine performance, resolving minor issues, and escalating where necessary
Managing production output and ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently upheld
Conducting pre-start checks, logging downtime, and ensuring effective shift handovers
Supporting Shift Supervisors by liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
Mentoring and training team members while maintaining high morale and productivity
Enforcing proper use of PPE, COSHH materials, and completion of relevant documentation

What We’re Looking For ...

Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or production environment (FMCG or food-related preferred)
Strong background in managing agency and temporary labour, especially during seasonal peaks
Familiarity with high-speed automation and production line machinery (basic engineering knowledge is a plus)
Comfortable working under pressure in a high-volume, fast-moving setting
Excellent communication skills and confident in both spoken and written English
IT literate – confident using Excel, Word, Teams, and production tracking systems
Health & Safety awareness (IOSH, HACCP or similar desirable)
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotational pattern
