Very good family in Chelsea is looking for a full time professional and experienced housekeeper to join their household.

UHNW family based in Chelsea currently seeking a temp to perm housekeeper to join the team. Household consists of three housekeepers, one chef, security personnel, and two personal assistants.

We plan to conduct interviews asap and would like somebody secured and ready for 2 weeks time. Must be strong candidates with some years experience working for UHNW household. 

Job Brief:

• Salary: £50k, depending on experience
  


• Travel: The candidate should be flexible and comfortable with occasional travel with the family
  


• Working hours: 5 days a week (including some weekends as per the rota)
  


• Environment: This is a busy household, so the candidate should be quick on their feet
  


• Atmosphere: The family is warm and welcoming, creating a positive and supportive work environment, where all staff members are well looked after
  


• Requirements: The ideal candidate must be highly presentable, able to work seamlessly within a team, and possess a “can-do” attitude at all times
  


• Pets: The candidate must be comfortable with animals, including a dog and guinea pigs
  

 Rota shifts between 3 housekeepers:

6:30am - 3:30pm

8am - 5pm

11am - 8pm

All candidates must be happy with all times. They will work eg morning shift for a month then they rotate.

At first no weekends at all as the more experienced house keepers do weekends but then after a while maybe 1 weekend a month then 2 days off in the week if worked on weekend.

Travel will be with a more experienced housekeeper as well who’s been with the family longer. The family travel every 6 weeks when schools breaks.

UHNW household experience is essential and happy to work in a team and with a puppy and 2 guinea pigs.  

Tasks include:

Cleaning:

·       Vacuuming

·       Dusting

·       Polishing

·       Mopping kitchen and bathroom. 

1. Wardrobe Organization and Maintenance:
   




• Keep the parents' wardrobe and closets tidy and organized.
  


• Implement and maintain a system for organizing clothing by type, colour, season, or frequency of use.
  


• Occasional declutter and arrange items to ensure easy access.
  




2. Laundry and Garment Care:
   




• Wash, dry, iron, and fold or hang clothing appropriately.
  


• Handle delicate fabrics and specialty items according to care instructions. Must have knowledge and experience with cashmere and silks etc.
  


• Arrange for dry cleaning of items that require professional care.
  




3. Repairs and Alterations:
   




• Identify clothing items that need repairs, such as missing buttons, broken zippers, or loose seams.
  


• Perform minor repairs or arrange for professional alterations as needed.
  




4. Packing and Unpacking:
   




• Help to Pack and unpack clothing for travel, ensuring that the client has appropriate outfits for their destination and activities.
  


• Ensure items are packed to minimize wrinkles and damage.
  




5. Storage Solutions:
   




• Implement effective storage solutions for clothing, shoes, and accessories.
  


• Use garment bags, storage boxes, and organizers to protect items from dust and damage.
  

Organising and arranging, repairs, grocery delivery, dry cleaners.

Position Overview: We're looking for an experienced professional housekeeper who can handle a variety of household management tasks, with a special emphasis on caring for delicate garments. Your responsibilities will include hand washing, ironing, steaming, and stain removal for a range of delicate fabrics.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in household management, including skills in delicate garment care.
  


• Proficiency in hand washing, ironing, and steam cleaning techniques for delicate fabrics.
  


• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and treating stains.
  


• Knowledge of proper storage solutions to preserve delicate garments.
