Professional Indemnity Solicitor (1-5 years')

A leading law firm is looking for a Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join its growing Insurance team in Edinburgh. The team specialises in professional indemnity work and is led by top-ranked Partners and experienced individuals. 

What the role involves:

• Defending claims made against professionals such as lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, education providers and insurance brokers
• Working closely with insurers and other clients
• Managing interesting and varied cases
• Developing both legal and client relationship skills

What the firm is looking for:

• Someone who enjoys solving problems and thinking critically
• Organised and able to manage their time and workload
• Motivated and curious to learn
• Experience in litigation is helpful (insurance or commercial litigation preferred, but not essential)

The team is happy to consider applicants from different legal backgrounds who have an interest in this area of law. It is also open to flexible working requests.
