Project Manager – Multi-Service Property Consultancy (Leicestershire-Based)

We’re seeking an experienced Managing QS to join this consultancy as a Projects Director and learn the full operation of this business with the view of becoming the Managing Director why the current MD retires in 5 years.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a consultancy that acts as a true extension of its clients’ teams—guiding projects from site acquisition through to completion. You’ll be involved in:

• Pre-construction services including due diligence, viability assessments, and development appraisals
• Project and cost management across infrastructure, industrial, commercial, educational, and residential developments
• Client representation in planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting
• Liaison with funders, tenants, and legal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Hands-on involvement in both project management and quantity surveying functions

You’ll be supported by a team of trusted partner consultants and will have the opportunity to expand your expertise across the full development lifecycle.

Salary = Circa £100,000 per annum (open to negotiation during interview process)

Selling points = Working for a reputable consultancy with very strong relationships with developments, running project in the value of £500K-£20m and the chase to become the Managing Director of your own consultancy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Approachable, proactive, and commercially astute
• Ideally from a QS background and willing to learn the Project Management and operations side of the role
• Experienced in either pre- or post-contract project delivery (we’ll help you grow into the rest)
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and project streams
• Ideally RICS chartered or working towards it
• Based within a reasonable commute of Ibstock (LE67)
