Programme Centre of Excellence Specialist

Public sector organisation seeks a project management specialist to join their team as a Programme Centre of Excellence Specialist. This post is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will contribute to the success of multiple projects in a busy and dynamic working environment. You will work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and championing best practice.

The position would be ideally suited to a project professional with strong stakeholder management skills who is motivated to facilitate efficient and effective project delivery. It is offered on a hybrid working basis with two days a week in the office in Birmingham.

What’s involved:
Review business cases and advise on the risks associated
Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Identify stakeholders, their interests, and potential impacts
Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication
Ensure stakeholders are informed about timelines, messages, and submissions

About you:
Experience in a Project Management related role
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio
Excellent interpersonal skills
