Programme Finance Lead Location: Warwick - Hybrid working arrangement 3 days on site Pay Rate: £450 per day via umbrella (inside IR35) Contract Length: Initial 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
We're recruiting for a Programme Finance Lead to support a large programme portfolio within a complex project environment.
Working closely with Project Managers, Finance Business Partners and Investment Accountants, you'll be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and financial governance, while providing challenge and support to key stakeholders.
This role would suit someone with strong programme or project finance experience who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and driving improvements to financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage forecasting and budgeting activities across programme portfolios Produce and review financial reporting packs and commentary Analyse spend, trends and variances Challenge financial assumptions and project forecasts Partner with Project Managers and senior stakeholders Support programme governance and financial controls Present financial information to non-finance audiences Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting Support quarterly planning and forecasting cyclesExperience Required
Finance Business Partnering, Project Finance or Programme Finance experience Strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting capability Experience supporting projects, programmes or investment portfolios Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and proactively challenge where appropriateDesirable
Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Experience within infrastructure, engineering, utilities, transformation or capital projects SAP experience Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
