Job Title: Programme Planner
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: Around £50,000 + benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Programme Planner to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to a Director, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising project and resource schedules to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project & labour schedules using MS Project.
• Monitor and adjust resource allocations to ensure optimal project delivery.
• Liaise with project managers and site supervisors to ensure accurate and timely updates to schedules.
• Anticipate and resolve resource conflicts or scheduling issues.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Support in the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar planning or scheduling role within construction or a related industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project (essential).
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, close-knit team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
