Our client is seeking Test Manager/ Lead to join a large programme of work where you take ownership of the Test Operating Model, define a Framework and give clear accountability and responsibility to multiple Stakeholders to make Testing a success.
Your capabilities will include the ability to provide leadership across a portfolio of projects and multiple workstreams within a programme ensuring that testing activities effectively mange risk and support the successful delivery of the programme objectives.
You will demonstrate consistent focus on delivery, quality outcomes, risk reduction, and the successful achievement of programme objectives.
Any previous experience working with CDL Strata is highly advantageous though not essential.
Essential experience required:
Detailed knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, with a strong understanding of how these are applied across large and complex programmes delivering technology and business change. Experience in capacity planning, resource management, test progress reporting, forecasting, and prioritisation across multiple concurrent workstreams. Knowledge of quality management processes, governance frameworks, and relevant industry standards, with a strong focus on risk-based decision making and continuous improvement. Ability to analyse and interpret test, defect, quality, and operational data to provide clear, actionable insight to programme and senior leadership teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing complex issues spanning multiple systems, integrations, technologies, and business processes. Excellent communication & stakeholder skills
Qualific
ations:
Minimum bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required with emphasis in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems Management. ISTQB Certification or other industry recognised qualifications
Location: Hybrid. Occasional visits to Nationwide offices.
Rate: £675/d Inside IR35
Contract: 6 Months (Rolling Contract)
