Progress Tutor - Rotherham Secondary Schools

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Progress Tutors to support secondary schools throughout Rotherham.

Position: Progress Tutor
Employment Type: Temporary, during term time only (Monday to Friday)
Placement: Multiple educational settings in the Rotherham area
Salary: £92.56 - £110 per day, including accrued holiday entitlement. Higher rates may be offered based on prior experience, credentials, and individual school budgets.

As a Progress Tutor, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Duties:

Provide targeted one-to-one and small group tutoring sessions across a range of subjects and year groups.
Monitor student progress, identify areas for development, and implement strategies to raise attainment.
Assist with the practical application of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), collaborating with Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to tailor materials and monitor student development.
Support students in building confidence, study skills, and independent learning techniques.
Work alongside teaching staff to track progress and provide feedback on student performance.Benefits of Working With Us:

Relevant tutoring or teaching qualification (e.g., Level 4/5 or equivalent) is desirable.
Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting.
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a readiness to obtain one.
