Progression Coach – Bristol ?? Location: Bristol + West of England travel
?? Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week
?? Salary: £28,000 – £29,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Progression Coach to support learners across the West of England. This is a dynamic, people-focused role that involves working with a range of delivery teams to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve their personal, academic, or employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Recruitment, Community Learning, and Employability teams to source, engage, and check eligibility of learners
• Conduct initial needs assessments to ensure tailored support
• Deliver ongoing coaching, one-to-one support, and regular progress reviews
• Support participants with disclosure guidance in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
• Manage and prioritise a busy caseload independently, while remaining flexible to respond to short-notice needs
• Refer learners to educational programmes or deliver suitable accredited qualifications where required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, working closely with MIS and support teams to ensure full compliance
• Carry out all responsibilities in line with Equality, Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and risk management policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience managing your own caseload
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Previous experience cooperating with external agencies, support services, or community partners
• Confident communicator with excellent coaching and mentoring skills
