Project Accountant - 12 month FTC

Salary: Circa £40,000
Contract: Fixed-term (12 months)

Are you a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for driving project performance?

We’re hiring a Project Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support our dynamic delivery and finance teams. This is a hands-on role that connects financial insight with project execution—ensuring every hour and pound is aligned with planned outcomes.

• Tracking revenue, costs, and margins across live projects

• Reconciling WIP balances and ensuring accurate monthly revenue recognition

• Partnering with Project Managers to align budgets and delivery forecasts

• Identifying and escalating risks and variances early

• Supporting cash flow forecasting, billing, and resourcing decisions

• Building dashboards and trackers to enhance decision-making

• Contributing to pricing, scenario modelling, and commercial analysis

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar

• AAT Level 4 or studying ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)

• Experience in commercial finance, project accounting, or delivery-focused roles

• Strong Excel/financial modelling skills and a keen eye for detail
