Job Description - Project Accountant

The Job
A Project Accountant will be hired for 12 months. Hybrid working. Excellent benefits package.
This role will report to a Financial Controller and will be responsible for the successful delivery of an intercompany reconciliation and data cleanse project across EMEA's 18 offices.

Some key areas:
  • Reconcile intercompany balances across all EMEA offices
  • Analyse, manage and resolve intercompany mismatches
  • Posting journals to reconcile and clear intercompany balances across all EMEA offices
  • Develop a strong reporting structure to track and report on progress
  • Settling intercompany balances
  • Implement new approach for intercompany accounting, in doing so make changes from issues arising

About You
  • Be a Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience of intercompany processes within a global organisation
  • ERP experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven track record of working on projects, including managing own time effectively and delivering against deadlines
  • Experience of a large and process driven business
