Job DescriptionWorking for this exciting innovative and entrepreneurial business which is a provider of interdisciplinary architecture, urban, and interior design firm with 85 years of experience, it is dedicated to excellence in design with a sustainable approach to community development.FP & A PROJECT ACCOUNTANTCreate, update and reconcile projects, providing relevant documentationReporting for UK corporate operationsTake responsibility for overall UK financial reporting/budgetingLiaise with Project Managers regarding project cash flow and profitability marginsWeekly update of Project Finance reports and reconciliationAssist with Monthly Financial Review with project teamProvide the business with project analytics and reporting toolsDeveloping monthly rolling forecasts, using an integrated excel model;Undertake a project to develop and roll out improved and consistent excel based management accounts across all projectsSupport / challenge the Commercial team on commercial decision makingProvide accounting support for tenders and bids for new projectsScope, develop and conduct a (light) Internal Audit process across the projectsKEY REQUIREMENTS Ideally part qualified, AAT, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent and with circa 2-3 years relevant experienceMust have transparent approach to delivering output which stands the test of scrutinyConfident with financial principles and ability to check for completeness and accuracy of information presentedAn eye for detail with good knowledge of Microsoft office applicationsAbility to review processes and systems with a view for continuous improvementAnalytical and inquisitive mind with ability to simplify financial data for non-financial colleaguesAbility to work to agreed deadlines and qualityHighly organised and able to manage conflicting prioritiesGood inter-personal skills and is able to build effective relationships across the organisationFlexible individual and team player with willingness to adapt to changing environment
