Harmonic is excited to be partnering with a massive global player in the architecture and built environment space and who are one of the biggest influencers of what our future cities and communities will look like. Despite £1b global turnover and operations across over 20 countries, they've maintained a strong people-centric approach and look to build tight-knit, high performing teams across all their locations.

Their London team, based out of a beautiful office in central London, consists of over 400 professionals across finance, design, operations, and senior leadership. They are one of the most prestigious and fast-growing businesses in their space, looking for an ambitious and commercially-minded individual.

The Role

This opportunity will give you exposure to some of the design world's leading architects, project directors, and finance talent. It offers excellent opportunity for business partnering, finance analysis, WIP management, and to build your commercial finance skills and knowledge.

This role would suit a driven problem-solver who loves to work cross-functionally and in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important role in the analysis of high-value global projects and provide the leadership team with valuable financial insights.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Design Directors to drive project financial performance and reporting
• Provide commercial insight through accurate forecasting and WIP tracking
• Review fees, staffing, and budgets to support profitable project planning
• Lead studio-level financial analysis and be the go-to for finance matters
• Support project kick-off and ensure best practices are followed throughout
• Train Design Managers on project finance essentials and tools
• Oversee client invoicing and ensure alignment with contract terms
• Review labour and expenses for accuracy with project teams
• Help manage aged debt and support collection effort
• Coordinate consultant invoices and payments efficiently

What we need to see:

• Prior experience in project accounting in the AEC or creative space
• Strong understanding of WIP accounting
• Excellent Excel skills
• Clear communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

What we'd like to see:

• Exposure to international/multi-currency projects
• Previous involvement in streamlining financial processes or reporting tools
• Experience supporting creative or project-focused teams

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits

Start Date: Flexible
