Project Admin Manager Nottingham £28,885 - £34,148 per annum Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive teamas Project Admin Manager The Project Admin Manager is responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient general and financial administration service which is provided to Care and Support Projects. The Project Admin Manager manages the Project Admin Team, who work directly with the project teams in order to provide this service. The team works remotely across the region, so the post requires good team management skills to ensure that the team are well supported despite rarely being face to face. As Project Admin Manager, some of your key duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Manage the workload of the project administration team on a day to day basis. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers; actively seeking feedback from customers and proposing process improvements for the team. Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative services; managing the delivery of a quality administrative service across CS projects. Deliver robust administrative and financial systems that meet required standard of performance. Utilise the Associations IT systems to ensure the production, collation and dissemination of high quality documentation/information; ensuring electronic and manual records are accurate and up to date at all times. Work within allocated budget to provide an efficient administrative service; maintaining accurate records of resource utilisation e.g. staffing to enable correct apportionment of costs, recharging projects for any additional hours provided. Work with the Internal Auditor to identify areas of non-compliance to Financial Regulations and put in place action plans for improvement. Recruit, induct and support and develop colleagues; managing and evaluating performance effectively.
What We Require Qualified to NVQ 3 level or equivalent in relevant subject i.e. Business Admin or Customer Services The perfect candidate will have substantial experience of working in administration. They must be able to use Microsoft Office packages especially Excel. A good level of numeracy is essential. Experience of managing a team and being able to communicate well. Must be comfortable working with colleagues at all levels. Good problem solving skills and the ability to work under own initiative and productively due to remote working. Someone who wants to make a difference. Knowledge of social housing is preferable but not essential
Working Hours 35 Hours a week working week: Mon - Fri, 7 hours per day. We work flexibly so daily working hours are not fixed. The role is not office based, currently predominantly working from home and regularly visiting the team at projects across the region. There is the expectation of attendance at head office for meetings, training and to meet other work-related requirements.
