We strive to provide not only superior technology and design, but also outstanding quality, service, and application support.Job DescriptionWhat is the role?In a nutshell, this role is all about System Project Management, planning, leadership and on site execution of commissioning, including supervision of subcontractors, and training of customers.What dies the day-to-day look like?● Project commissioning planning, including writing and submitting commissioning protocolsand negotiating agreement of plans with customers● Leadership, and on-site execution of commissioning plans, troubleshooting and close outto the satisfaction of customer requirements● Supervision of subcontractors within project scope.● Training of customers and final handover of projects● Working on multiple small projects at the same time in different customer locations inthe UK.● Lead project manager on some projects.●Support Design & Proposals team with initial control design concepts, validation of third-party final design.● Feedback and contribute to product design improvements whilst fostering an environment ofcontinuous improvement.● At all times be an ecological champion, seeking to reduce our impact on theenvironment.QualificationsWhat skills will you likely have?HND or greater in an engineering discipline or extensive field experience, or time servedProven work record of the highest safety standardsProcess, mechanical, electrical engineering skills in a field environmentWater Purification systems experienceWillingness to travel (mainly uk)Demonstrable experience of continuous improvementPlanning, scoping & management of small projectsCommissioning & troubleshooting small to medium size complex process systemsPLC, HMI, BMS programming and implementationAdditional InformationWhat are the benefits?At Veolia WPS, we know that at certain crucial moments in life, we all need a little help, protection and support.
