The Role: Project Civil Engineer
You'll be a vital part of the drainage and infrastructure civils team, managing design, delivery, and mentoring. The role includes:
Creating schematic, concept, and detailed drainage/highways designs using Civils 3D
Delivering drainage and SUDS designs using Causeway Flow
Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
Leading collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Mentoring and managing junior engineers
Acting as Project Leader, including oversight of project finances
What We're Looking For
Proficient in Civils 3D (or equivalent), with strong drainage design experience
Track record of mentoring and line management
Knowledge of Sustainable Drainage Systems (concept and detailed design)
Site experience including contractor liaison and health & safety management
Experience in multiple sectors (e.g., NHS, DfE, private sector)
Comfortable engaging with local authorities and problem-solving within project teams
Strong quality assurance and project delivery skills
