Project/Delivery Manager - Bioinformatics Platform

Duration: 12-month contract

Location: Bracknell/Remote (Hybrid)

Rate: (INSIDE IR35)
- circa. £37 per hour (PAYE) / £51.70 per hour (Umbrella)

SRG are partnered with a leading client within the Agriculture industry to source an experienced Project Manager to assist the business for a 12-month contract. This role, a Delivery Manager, will involve administrating and overseeing a successful implementation of a Bioinformatics Platform. The client is seeking someone who has experienced handling complex projects and liaise with multiple teams, functions, and external parties.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

Operate as the central orchestrator, harmonizing diverse initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the overall project vision and organizational goals

Facilitating collaboration between internal and external teams
Managing high-level project timelines, coordinating with sub-initiative leaders on their specific deliverables
Ensure that the administrative aspects of the project are managed efficiently, including contract management and budget
Suggest and implement project management practices and standards
Proactively identify and raise dependencies, risks, and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary

Skills & experience required

3+ years of experience in delivery management
Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, hybrid)
Expertise with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Mural, Smartsheet)
Workshop orchestration and facilitation skills
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in contract management
Understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
Experience in life sciences (preferred)
