Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, and peripherals
• Deploying and configuring firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
• Conducting site surveys and implementing robust network infrastructure
• Working closely with project managers and clients to ensure seamless delivery
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation
• Providing both on-site and remote support during rollouts
• Ensuring all installations meet security and operational standards

What You’ll Need:

• At least 5 years’ experience in IT support/infrastructure, ideally within an MSP
• Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Hands-on experience with firewall config (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, etc.)
• Solid understanding of switching technologies and wireless networks
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays
• Ability to work independently and represent the business on client sites

Bonus Points For:

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, or MS-900)
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+
• Experience with project delivery in field services or site-based environments
