We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton\u0027s Aerospace business in Titchfield, Hampshire is recognised as an industry leader in aerospace fuel systems and a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The site offers extensive fuel and air system test facilities, allowing either complete aircraft fuel \u0026 inerting systems or components to be tested over a wide range of altitudes and temperatures with differing fuel types\n\nAs a Project Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development and qualification of new electro-mechanical fuel system components as well as support for existing in-service products. You will deliver yourself, or collaborate with internal and external technical resource, in the delivery of your allocated projects to ensure it is delivered to specification, on time and to budget. You will also support technical discussions with the customer and will develop long-term customer relations\n\nIn this fast-paced environment it is essential that the successful candidate also has excellent organisation abilities and the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous experience working in an aerospace engineering environment would be advantageous, although applicants from other high technology engineering backgrounds will be considered.\n\nTo support the development of electro-mechanical Fuel System Components through the full lifecycle of the programme, including but not limited to:\n\n * Ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and that the design implementation meets these requirements.\n * Prepare technical documentation in accordance with company procedures.\n * Collaborate with internal and external resources such that project actions are delivered to specification, on time and to budget.\n * Support technical discussions with the customer and maintain or improve customer relations.\n * Ensure timely and consistent communication on progress, impacts and changes associated with the technical directions and status of the projects.\n * Support failure investigations associated with fuel system products.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Good engineering degree, (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Equivalent).\n * Some experience in a relevant professional engineering environment, ideally gained in the aerospace or equivalent high technology industry.\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Technical and analytical (Fluid Dynamic, Stress, Electrical \u2026) knowledge base with the ability to understand and generate analysis.\n * Good verbal and written communication skills.\n * Good report writing skills.\n * Knowledge or strong interest in aerospace system technology.\n * Good problem solving skills.\n * Good organizational skills.\n * Authority to work in the UK and within the US ITAR legislation.\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * Great company benefits \n * We make your aspirations matter \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\n * We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term \u2013 not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University\n * We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people\u2019s lives and the environment through power management technologies\n * We make your wellbeing matter \u2013 We put your health and safety first.
