Project Engineer – Overview

We are working with one of the UK’s leading technical and energy services providers who specialise in major decarbonisation and net zero solution projects within the commercial and public sector. They deliver decarbonisation and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) projects up to £50million and above in value for sites such as Hospitals, Universities, Museums and many other complex live environments. They have a talented workforce of over 5,000 people and can offer development, progression and role with true autonomy.

They are seeking a Project Engineer to join their northern region in a hybrid role working between their office in Leeds, site and home based work. As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate the technical development and delivery of Energy Performance Contract (EPC) and decarbonisation projects from concept through to construction and commissioning.

Working alongside Project Managers, Design Consultants, Commercial teams and Construction teams, you will manage engineering workstreams, coordinate technical activities and ensure engineering solutions are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives, programme and budget.

The role will involve managing design development, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, supporting procurement and construction activities, and delivering innovative low-carbon engineering solutions for their clients.

Project Engineer – Requirements

* It's essential that you have experience within Energy Performance Contracting, decarbonisation, M&E or building services projects.

* Advanced user of ASTA Powerproject and Primavera P6.

* Proven experience managing complex construction, engineering, energy, utilities or infrastructure programmes.

* Strong understanding of critical path analysis, programme risk management and recovery planning.

* Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.

* Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively and drive accountability.

Project Engineer – Salary & Remuneration

* Salary up to £70,000 (Negotiable)
