The Company
Our client is a manufacturing supplier based in Warwickshire. With a diverse range of engineering capabilities, including medium-volume production, metrology, design, and consultancy, they offer comprehensive solutions tailored to meet their clients' needs.
Role Purpose
They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their friendly team to support Account Managers to ensure projects run on time by confirming project information is correct and supporting internal processes to aid manufacture.
Responsibilities:
CAD download tracking to be managed and updated.
CAD experience

2D & 3D
Control of customer/Supplier Tool go documentation.
PBOM creation
DFM/feasibility reviews
Generation & maintenance of timing plans.
Process flow creation for project assembly
Creation of operator process controls
Check Purchase Order documentation from customers & communicate with Project Managers any discrepancies.
Communicate with customers to confirm receipt of documentation including Purchase Orders.
Carry out weekly project reviews with each Account Manager.
Offer suggestions for continuous improvement to project management software and procedures.
Report to Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
Ensure the promotion of customer focus
Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained - Comply with the requirements of the IATF16949 - Project tracking documents to be updated and managed
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
CAD 2D & 3D (Desirable)
Microsoft Excel
Analytical skills
Be personable
Experience:
Previous automotive business knowledge desired
CAD: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to commute (Driver with own transport required)
Education:
A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
