Project Engineer

Job DescriptionTitle: Project EngineerLocation: DevonContract: PermanentTARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a Project Engineer to work with our aviation client based in Devon. The suitable candidate will be responsible for coordinating all the engineering activity into a deliverable plan of action, whilst providing the interface between, engineering, the project manager and all related company departments.Key Responsibilities:Translation of Customer requirements into measurable engineering terms in accordance with the project Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) Definition of engineering project deliverables Management of design project data Holding and documenting timely design reviews including formal PDR and CDR Overall system design Management of design resource in accordance with ETs and project WBS Ensure team members adhere to company procedures and processes Management of design hours and costs to ensure design is completed to time and budget Liaison with Project ManagersConcept design Checking and sign off of drawings for manufacture Contribute to the continuous development of business process and systemsRequirements:3D Cad skills preferably with SolidWorks, although adaptation training will be given. Knowledge of drawing standards including BS 8888, geometrical tolerancing, welding specification etc Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Use of MS Project Good communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels including suppliers and customers.
