Join a Leading Project Delivery Team
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects at EDF Sizewell B Power Station. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment, contributing to the delivery of key engineering projects that support the UK's energy infrastructure.
Working closely with the client, Project Manager, and multidisciplinary project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle. Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Manage project planning, cost control, risk management, quality requirements, and programme delivery. Support Safety Case development and ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and CDM regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Prepare project reports, business cases, and funding/sanction documentation. Support commercial and contractual aspects of project delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement and effective project execution.About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects. Experience within highly regulated or safety-critical industries. Strong understanding of project management principles, engineering delivery, quality assurance, and commercial management. Experience in estimating, cost control, project planning, and risk management. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. APMP qualification (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status are desirable. Previous experience within the nuclear industry or power generation sector is advantageous but not essential.What's on Offer
