As part of The Ranger Group, we are growing and looking for an ambitious Project Engineer to take ownership of exciting Fire & Security projects from design through to handover. What You Will Be Doing • Own the technical delivery of projects from pre-start through to handover. • Lead installation teams and coordinate subcontractors. • Produce drawings, schedules, RAMS, commissioning plans and documentation. • Drive quality, safety and compliance to NSI Gold and BAFE standards. • Commission systems, manage client witness testing and train end users. • Identify variations, monitor budgets and protect project margins. • Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders. Systems You Will Work With Fire Alarms: Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Hochiki. Security: Texecom, Paxton, Hanwha, Dahua. Networking: IP Addressing, PoE, VLAN fundamentals and device commissioning. What We Are Looking For • 3+ years in a Project Engineer or Senior Installation Engineer role. • Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience within Fire & Security. • Experience reading and producing technical drawings and schedules. • Full UK Driving Licence. • ECS/CSCS card. • FIA Units, SSSTS, IPAF and PASMA are advantageous.
