Project Engineer I

We're excited to be partnering with a world-class engineering company to find a talented Project Engineer ready to take ownership of challenging, high-impact projects from day one.

In this role, you’ll manage multiple engineering projects from concept through to startup, combining your technical know-how with a hands-on approach. You’ll help design smart solutions, support internal and global customers, and play a key part in the delivery of innovative equipment and systems.

Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to startup—on time and on budget
• Size, select, and specify equipment and processes
• Create process flow diagrams and P&IDs
• Produce fabrication drawings and contribute to equipment design
• Provide on-site technical support during installation and startup
• Support internal teams and train customers where needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project phases

You’ll Need:

• A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Strong project management skills—scheduling, tracking, reporting
• Great communication skills and contract interpretation ability
• Willingness to travel both in the UK and internationally

Skills & Experiences

• Experience in process design or capital equipment engineering
• Exposure to international project environments
• Understanding of industrial equipment installations

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 to £70,000
