Project Engineer - Simulation and Test

Essential requirements British Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance Experience within testing, simulation, systems integration or performance analysis Structured approach to technical problem solving and investigation Ability to work with complex engineering systems and multiple technical interfaces Comfortable working with technical specialists and cross-functional engineering teams Salary and rewards Up to £46,000 depending on experience, plus an annual performance-related bonus scheme.
What you will be doing Develop and maintain complex real-time simulations used to support system development and validation Conduct testing activities using a combination of software models, integrated equipment and representative hardware Investigate system behaviour, diagnose issues and support integration activities Analyse performance data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations Collaborate with subject matter experts across multiple engineering disciplines Support the preparation and execution of testing programmes throughout the product lifecycle Your experience System integration and interface troubleshooting experience Testing, verification or validation of systems, sub-systems or sensors Experience of simulation development or real-time software environments Performance analysis and interpretation of technical data Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to varied stakeholders Benefits and balance Rewards extend beyond pay with: Annual bonus linked to business performance Pension contributions of up to 14% combined employer and employee contribution Paid overtime opportunities when required Up to 15 additional flexi leave days each year This role offers exposure to advanced testing and simulation environments within the defence sector, providing opportunities to broaden your technical expertise and develop your career within a highly specialised engineering domain.
