We are looking for an experienced Project Estimating Engineer to join our clients Site Services team. If you have a background in fabrication and piping, strong technical acumen, and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

?? About the Role:

You will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates for a range of fabrication and piping work scopes, supporting tender processes, and liaising with customers to ensure clarity and precision in project planning and delivery.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating fabrication and piping projects based on customer ITTs, RFQs, and technical specifications
• Preparing and submitting tenders, quotations, and supporting documentation
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Performing accurate material take-offs and steel calculations
• Collaborating with workshop and project managers to ensure successful delivery
• Supporting project documentation and certification
• Maintaining HSEQ standards and company compliance at all times

?? You'll Need:

• A solid fabrication background with at least 5 years of relevant estimating experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and compile BOMs accurately
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general IT proficiency
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with industry standards such as BS EN 1090, ISO 3834, and PED (UKCA / CE) is preferred
• SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade preferred
• Full, clean driving licence required
