Project Lawyer: Commercial Property

We are currently partnering with a Local Government based in Surrey, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their accomplished team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week, the rate of pay will be negotiable based upon experience, start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing the transfer of land from District to Parish or Community Group level
• Handling over 50 active property files, including complex title reports and intricate land law issues
• Providing support for standard local government legal work during quieter project periods
• Assisting with overflow housing litigation on an ad-hoc basis

Experience required:

• Experience required in a Local Government Setting

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant property law experience
• Proficient in handling large caseloads and working with minimal supervision
• Experience with legal case management systems
