Your role and responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Suffolk County Council’s ambitious response to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), helping to make a real difference to the lives of victim-survivors across the county. Working within our Community Safety Team, you will lead and coordinate projects that strengthen support services, develop safe accommodation options and improve outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse. You will work closely with colleagues, partners and commissioned providers across health, policing, safeguarding and voluntary sector organisations to turn strategy into action. With a strong focus on evidence-based practice, partnership working and lived experience, you will help shape future service design, ensuring the voices of victim-survivors are at the heart of our work. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change in an area of national priority, delivering innovative projects that address identified gaps in provision, while helping Suffolk meet its statutory responsibilities and long-term ambitions to create safer communities for all
