Project Leader

• Strong people focus; acting as line manager to up to 30 direct reports to ensure their safety, welfare and training and development needs are met.


• Ensuring financial targets, quality output and programme targets of the team are met.


• Strong customer focus to develop and maintain customer relationships ensuring their needs are understood and met. The role will mean spending time on customer sites and an ability to secure replacement/new areas of work.


• Recruitment and retention to meet business requirements.


• Resource management to ensure staff are effectively deployed.


• Strong commercial awareness and able to apply corporate governance of the business.


• Ability to identify problems and issues and seek effective resolution.


• Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

• Degree qualified or equivalent


• Knowledge of the Nuclear industry, especially Sellafield Limited, is preferred.


• Line management and deployment of resource.


• Delivery experience in either a technical or project management role.


• Developing business with existing and new customers


• Less experienced candidates will be considered, that demonstrate behaviours and attitudes commensurate with the role
