Construction Project Manager – Data Centre Builds (London and surrounding area)

?? Job Type: Permanent
?? Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a leading M&E contractor on a permanent basis in London. This exciting opportunity involves managing large-scale data centre projects, overseeing all aspects of construction and ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage full lifecycle delivery of construction projects, with a focus on data centre builds.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective planning and execution.
Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and risks, maintaining full accountability from start to finish.
Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, quality guidelines, and industry regulations.
Monitor site activity, lead site meetings, and provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Drive resolution of technical and logistical issues that may arise during the project.
Promote continuous improvement and innovation throughout the delivery process.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally on data centre or large-scale commercial projects.
Solid understanding of M&E systems and coordination within complex builds.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
