Blaymires Recruitment is partnering with a well-established external envelope contractor based near Portsmouth to recruit a Project Manager to join their expanding team.

This contractor specialises in delivering a wide range of cladding and recladding projects across the UK, with project values ranging from £1M to £20M. With a strong order book secured into 2025, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager or Contracts Manager with experience in cladding, roofing, or façades.

The Role: Project Manager

You will take full ownership of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, internal departments, and site teams, driving programme, cost, and quality performance while managing risk and promoting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to handover
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, site teams, and subcontractors
• Manage budgets, programmes, resources, and logistics
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and QA procedures
• Oversee risk management and reporting
• Drive progress meetings and maintain project documentation
• Manage handovers and ensure client satisfaction

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in façade, cladding, roofing, or envelope contracting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Track record of delivering projects valued £1M-£20M
• In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and safety protocols
• Skilled in budgeting, programming, and resource management
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and relevant certifications preferred
