Social Housing Retrofit Projects

We’re working with a well-established main contractor delivering energy efficiency upgrades across social housing stock in Dartford and surrounding areas. Due to a strong pipeline of retrofit works, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Retrofit Project Manager to take the lead on-site and drive projects forward.

This is a site-based, delivery-focused role overseeing the installation of retrofit measures — including insulation, ventilation, windows, and other fabric-first upgrades — in occupied social housing. You’ll be responsible for coordinating trades, managing health & safety, liaising with tenants and ensuring all works meet PAS 2035 standards.

• Manage day-to-day delivery of multiple retrofit sites

• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure efficient workflow

• Monitor quality, H&S, and progress across all stages of the programme

• Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and client reps to minimise disruption

• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports

• Ensure compliance with all PAS 2035 and building regs requirements

• Strong background in site or project management within social housing or refurbishment/retrofit

• Good working knowledge of PAS 2035, energy efficiency measures, and compliance

• SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant CSCS (Gold or Black card preferred)

• Retrofit Coordinator/Assessor qualification (advantageous but not essential)

• Confident managing multiple trades and resolving issues on the ground

• Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
