Project Manager – Construction Refurbishment

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Benefits

A well-established and fast-growing construction refurbishment specialist is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver a variety of high-quality commercial, industrial, and residential refurbishment projects. The Role

The Project Manager will take ownership of refurbishment projects from pre-start to handover, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent client communication. You'll work closely with commercial, site, and subcontractor teams to ensure smooth project progression and compliance with programme and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of refurbishment projects from inception through to completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Monitor project progress, quality, and cost, reporting regularly to senior management
• Conduct site meetings, manage health & safety protocols, and ensure all documentation is up to date
• Resolve project-related issues quickly and effectively
• Maintain strong client communication and act as the main point of contact throughout the project
• Work collaboratively with Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and the Head of Sales to support client satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction refurbishment or fit-out sector
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and health & safety regulations
• Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and programmes
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certifications (preferred)
