Project Manager

We’re looking for a driven (Senior) Project Manager to lead and continuously elevate our company’s project planning, delivery governance, and risk management strategy in the UK, while delivering high-quality military exercises and demonstrations.

In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-moving robotics environment. You’ll shape scalable planning and reporting structures, steer matrix teams across internal and external partners, and provide clear leadership through ambiguity. You’ll be a key interface to customers and distributors, and a trusted sparring partner for leadership ensuring delivery excellence, financial control, and consistently high quality standards. You’ll have a role which bridges traditional project management and being hands-on with preparing, enabling, running and closing down exercises.

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects, exercises and demonstrations from planning to execution and closure
• Define and improve project governance (cadence, steering committees, status reporting, KPIs) to enable scalable execution
• Lead integrated planning across functions (R&D, engineering, operations, commercial) and drive alignment in a matrix organisation
• Proactively manage risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams, with structured mitigation and escalation
• Steer budget planning and financial tracking, ensuring forecast accuracy and target achievement
• Act as a senior communication interface to customers and distributors, managing expectations and escalations with confidence
• Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and using your problem-solving skills and proactivity to take ownership of the solution
• Deliver training to military end users in small groups
• Ensure projects meet quality, compliance, and delivery standards, driving continuous improvement and lessons learned
• Support leadership initiatives such as portfolio prioritisation, process optimisation, and operational excellence
• Travel in the UK and abroad to military exercise areas and demonstration sites
