We are working in partnership with a leading automotive engineering and manufacturing client based in Norfolk, who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of key programmes across their engineering function.
This is a long term contract opportunity focused on driving projects from concept through to delivery within a fast-paced, highly technical automotive environment.
What You’ll Do Lead the end-to-end delivery of automotive engineering projects, from initiation through to completion Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, timing, and budget requirements Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required Track and report on project progress, performance metrics, and milestones to key stakeholders Ensure effective communication across internal teams and external partners Support programme governance activities including documentation, reporting, and stakeholder reviews Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and methodologiesWhat You’ll Bring Essential:
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering sector Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery within a manufacturing environment Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDesirable:
