Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the delivery of bespoke interactive waterplay projects from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining excellent customer relationships throughout.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial design through to final client handover
* Lead the Project Design Team, supporting project delivery, sales opportunities and business development
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, programmes and key milestones
* Monitor project budgets, forecasts and profitability, identifying opportunities for cost savings
* Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
* Ensure all projects comply with Health & Safety legislation and relevant industry standards
* Work closely with design, manufacturing, procurement and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
Key Requirements of a Project Manager:
The ideal candidate will have previous Project Management experience within a Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction or Leisure environment and be confident managing multiple projects from start to finish.
Key skills of a Project Manager:
* Proven Project Management experience within Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering or Leisure attractions
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* An understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
* Experience interpreting CAD drawings and technical specifications
* A PRINCE2, APM or PMP Project Management qualification
* Knowledge of pumps, filtration systems, controls or water treatment systems
