To be successful as a Project Manager, you should have experience with:
Ability to operate independently at senior level, supporting leaders with clear analysis, options and recommendations to drive effective decisions. Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met. Production of ExCo ready progress reporting, providing clear assurance that proposed solutions are being delivered on time and within approved budgets. Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary. Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation. Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and coaching colleagues across complex initiatives. Enterprise agile capability required, with experience applying agile at scale across complex, multi?initiative portfolios. Some other highly valued skills may include:
PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certification mandatory Extensive experience in Project Manager role managing projects with large complexity, business-critical and cross-functional teams spanning multiple regions and functions. Seasoned Project Manager with strong visual communication capability required, with proven and exceptional PowerPoint skills and the ability to help stakeholders visualise complex concepts, journeys and decisions clearly. Strategic Focus: Operates more tactically, focusing on day-to-day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project. Time Horizon: Works with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end. Stakeholder Management: Primarily manages stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project's deliverables. Risk and Issue Management: Focuses on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project's scope. Resource Management: Manages resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work. Financial Management: Focuses on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints. Metrics: Measures success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget. Change Management: Manages changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
