Job Title: Project Manager – Decarbonisation Project at Gatwick Airport

Location: Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent - project is set to last until at least 2030
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant decarbonisation project at Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative initiative aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing sustainability in one of the UK's busiest airports. There are multiple site-wide projects and you will be assigned a package/packages to manage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the planning, execution, and completion of the decarbonisation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

* Oversee various aspects of the projects, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), civils, and construction works.

* Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the projects lifecycle.

* Implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency.

* Monitor projects progress, prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

* Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large infrastructure projects or decarbonisation initiatives.

* Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and civils works.

* NEC contract training or experience is a significant advantage.

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
