Join a global engineering organisation delivering complex capital equipment projects across critical infrastructure sectors.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects valued at £1m+, managing schedules, budgets, contractual requirements and project performance from handover through to installation, commissioning and completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
* Manage project budgets, forecasts and profitability.
* Act as a focal point for project communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate activities across departments to ensure projects are delivered to schedule.
* Manage project risks, issues, variations and change control.
* Review contracts, specifications and commercial documentation.
* Produce project reports and contract cost reviews.
* Monitor performance against agreed cost, schedule and delivery targets.
* Support installation, construction and commissioning activities as required.
* Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and company safety standards.
Experience Required
* Delivering complex projects with responsibility for schedules, budgets and project outcomes.
* Strong project scheduling, planning and programme management expertise.
* Managing costs, forecasts and commercial performance.
* Read, analyse and interpret contracts and specifications.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and delivery challenges.
* Track record of delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality targets.
Desirable
* Experience working on projects involving large capital equipment.
* Experience within water, construction, process engineering or similar project-led environments.
* NEC contract experience.
