We're looking for a proactive Project Manager with PMO experience to oversee important projects in a new IT finance division. The perfect fit will understand financial processes well, be super organized, and have a knack for seeing projects through to the end.
The Day Job:
Manage multiple finance projects, making sure they finish on time, within scope, and budget.
Create detailed project plans, covering what needs to be done, when, and who's doing it.
Work closely with teams across finance, IT, compliance, and operations.
Keep an eye on project progress, spot potential problems, and sort them out.
Regularly update stakeholders and top brass on the project's status.
Encourage good communication and teamwork among project team members.
Make sure everyone follows company policies and industry rules.
Review projects after they're done to figure out what we can learn and how we can do better next time.
What's needed to get the job done:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or similar.
Proven track record of handling finance projects in a PMO role.
Having a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification would be awesome.
Great knowledge of project management methods and tools.
Sharp problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage lots of things at once in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using project management software like MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
