Project Manager, Banking Operations

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking an Operations Project Manager to join their London team on a permanent basis. This key role will drive complex change initiatives, including the establishment of a new EU legal entity. The ideal candidate must have strong operations project delivery experience, solid derivatives knowledge, and a track record of working on legal entity setups in a global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of Operations-related change projects, both IT and non-IT
• Support the setup and integration of a new EU legal entity to drive strategic business growth
• Ensure governance, cost control, and alignment to project delivery frameworks
• Engage stakeholders, manage third-party vendors, and support steering committees

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience delivering Operations change projects in financial services
• Strong understanding of legal entity structure and implementation
• In-depth product knowledge of derivatives (IRD, FX Swaps/Fwds, FX Options)
• Experience in payments is preferred
• Solid track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in investment banking
