Remuneration: £60,000 - £65,000neg

The role of the Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure works will involve:

* Project Manager position responsible for a range of civil engineering, infrastructure, drainage and highway contracts

* Regular site visits across Yorkshire, North East and the North West to monitor project progress, health & safety compliance and contractor performance.

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information to identify risks and requirements

* Preparing scopes, specifications and methodologies while supporting tenders and pre-construction

* Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

* Managing project costs, variations, forecasts and commercial performance

* Monitoring programmes, identifying risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions

* Ensuring projects meet health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements

* Overseeing projects with a value of up to £7m although typically £1m-£2m

The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure works with:

* Must have Project Management experience within the civils, infrastructure, drainage, highways or come from a closely related background

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills)

* Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal

* Must be a great team player

* High levels of organisation
